Ultrasound checks

We use state-of-the-art equipment that pinpoints
lumps. Ultrasound technology is an ideal way to
detect cancer in patients younger than 35 years
old. At younger ages, it is vital to determine
whether or not a detected lump is benign, such
as fat or water cysts that are common among
girls and younger women. However, even benign
lumps require you to have yourself checked by a
specialist – another service we offer at our
clinic.
Normally, a physician would only ask a younger
patient to have an ultrasound check, because the
nature and structure of the breasts of younger
women make mammogram scanning unsuitable for
them.
