Breast Cancer towards a New Era in 2030 Vision in KSA

Sheikh Mohammed Hussien Al-Amoudi Center of Excellence in Breast Cancer held a forum entitled "Breast Cancer towards a New Era in 2030 Vision in KSA,” sponsored by Pfizer and at the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at King Abdulaziz University HE Prof. Mahmoud Shahin Al-Ahwal and Head of the Health Empowerment & Health Rights Unit Prof. Samia Al-Amoudi. Dr. Motaeb Alfahedi & Mr. Sary Wahab also attended the gathering of medical practitioners at Crowne Plaza Hotel on Friday, 11th November 2016.

Prof. Mahmoud Shahin Al-Ahwal spoke about the cancer strategies adopted by the Ministry of Health and showed the importance of early screening in reducing mortality rates were then dealt. Dr. Motaeb Alfahedi explained the system that they used to have in the National Guard Hospital, a totalitarian regime to serve the patients. After that Prof. Al-Amoudi talked about the rights of cancer patients and the importance of protecting the rights of the patient to become more aware of their rights. In closing a lecture was given by Mr. Sary addressed in his lecture was Pfizer which is contribute and support the Al-Amoudi Center being one of the largest cancer centers such care comes as a matter of social responsibility, which is keen on the company.
