30. Breast Cancer Participate Effectively in the Cancer Day:

The women’s tumors department at King Abdulaziz University Hospital in Jeddah organized an event on the occasion of the International Day for Cancer on 16 February 2011.
The event was attended by Dr. Adnan Al-Mazrou’, Professor Mahmoud Shaheen Al-Ahwal, Dr. Khalil Al-Thaqafi and Dr. Kamal Ghalayini, as well as members of the hospital’s administrative and medical staff, students, visitors and patients.

The participating departments were:

- Women’s Tumors

- Surgery

 

- Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Al-Amoudi for Excellence in Breast Cancer

- Health Education Unit

- Internal Tumors

- Radiation

- Blood Diseases

- Infection Combat

- Domestic Healthcare

The center distributed leaflets to spread awareness on breast cancer and early detection.
