Dr. Samia Al-Amoudi, CEO of Sheikh Mohammed Hussien Al-Amoudi Center of Excellence in Breast Cancer and Chairwoman for Women’s Health Empowerment Scientific Chair in King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah has been invited to participate in KAU International Oncology Conference 2013 held on Thursday 17th January 2013 at King Faisal Conference Center, King Abdulaziz University. Dr. Samia gave a lecture entitled Globalization of Cancer Care, explaining the importance of raising awareness about cancer and what are the duties of each person and the direction of these patients.
The session for Cancer Secondary Prevention and Early Detection moderators were Dr. Samia Al-Amoudi & Dr. Yasser Bahader, Chairman of the Department of Radiology, Associate Professor & Consultant Radiation Oncology at King Abdulaziz University Jeddah, KSA which included three lectures to reveal the most important types of cancer in the society, the following topics: Breast Cancer in Saudi Arabia by Dr. Shadi AlKhayyat, Cervical Cancer by Dr. Khalid Sait and Colorectal Cancer by Prof. Mahmoud Al-Ahwal .
