Based on the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, God preserves the need to pay attention to the dissemination of human rights culture, the First Unit of Health Empowerment and Health Rights in the Faculty of Medicine at King Abdulaziz University headed by Prof. Samia bint Mohammed Al-Amoudi continue the series of lecture on health awareness on various universities and colleges of the region.
Prof. Samia received a call from the Dean of the College of Nursing Dr. Hasna Banjar and a member of the Health Empowerment and Health Rights Unit to present a lecture to the students of the Faculty of Nursing at the University under the title Role of a Nurse in Health Empowerment and Health Rights.
And that on Thursday ,29 Muharram 1439 H corresponding to October 19, 2017 at the Faculty of Nursing . Prof. Samia was greeted by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and a group of faculty members. She explained that the Ministry of Health issued a document on the rights of patients in 2006 and all practitioners should know it is available on the Ministry's website in addition to the role of nurses and the knowledge of circulars and health decisions that seek to improve health services.As mentioned in the lecture, the great historic decision is Supreme Decree No. 33322 issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in May 2017, which provides for the empowerment of women services without the need for the consent of the guardian, especially on health rights.
