The National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA) visited the Sheikh Mohammed Hussien Al-Amoudi Center of Excellence in Breast Cancer on Sunday, May 7, 2017, as part of their tour in the Faculty of Medicine at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. They were welcomed by the CEO of the Center and the Founder and Head of the Health Empowerment and Health Rights Unit Prof. Samia Al-Amoudi. The committee's team was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Naser Sarhan (Assistant Professor of Meteorology and Advisor of the Evaluation Authority for Education - Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation) and Mr. Robert M., Mr. Yasser Al-Wazir, Dr. Anderson and Dr. Thagreed Alshaikh.
Prof. Samia Al-Amoudi spoke about the most important achievements made by the Center during the past period, highlighting the role of students in community service and supporting the cause of breast cancer awareness and how the center was established. A health priority issue where breast cancer is the number one cancer among female. The Health Empowerment and Health Rights Unit has also been established based on our perceived weakness in human rights culture among students, health practitioners and even the general community through research studies.
