3) Sign language awareness campaign of 1431 h:

Under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Sitah Bint Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Sign Language Breast Cancer Handbook, by Dr. Samia Al-Amoudi, was launched in October 2010 along with a huge awareness campaign. The handbook targets deaf patients in Saudi Arabia. The campaign also included the distribution of other books and leaflets for deaf patients and their families, as well as the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Jeddah Club for Deaf Women. Also, a number of lectures were given and workshops were held. The campaign is ongoing through 2011.
