Abstract : Patients with chronic TMJ disorders associated with disc displacement without perforation were collected . Preoperative MRI findings , pathologic findings , and surgical findings were correlated to each other . MRI was found to be a reliable noninvasive procedure that clearly demonstrates TMJ structures . It is effective in revealing disc displacement
