Abstract : Literature is replete with notations regarding proper condyle-fossa relationship. Moreover there is a paucity of information on the morphological assessment of the temporo-mandibular joint (TMJ) in relation to varying skeletal relationship. Hence, this study was performed in order to assess the mandibular condylar position in Angle class II and III compared to class I (control group) utilizing a special constructed computer program in order to evaluate ANB angle from cephalometric radiograph, also to assess the angular, linear and area measurements from tomographic cuts of the TMJ using scanora multimodal system and special geometric method in order to assess condylar position and condylar displacement, with a total sample of thirty six subjects with age ranging from 18-22 years. Subjects were divided into three main groups (A, B and C groups) according to skeletal classification of ANB angle that was obtained from cephalometric analysis.
