Dr. Samia Bint Mohammed Al Amoudi, Head of the Health Empowerment and Health Rights Unit at the Faculty of Medicine, received the Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Award for Women from the Health Sector launched by the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Fund for the Development of Women on Sunday, April 23, 2017 in Riyadh. This award is the local leader in honoring distinguished Saudi women. Its mission is to highlight the successes of women in various fields of work and to document their achievements annually in several important and varied fields. The award was aimed at Saudi women working in various sectors such as education, culture, media, health, business and many others. The ceremony was held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Latifa Bint Abdul Aziz and honored by receiving the award from Her Royal Highness Princess
Dr. Samia Al Amoudi received this award for her intensive efforts in health empowerment and health rights starting with the opening of the first unit of health empowerment and health rights at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah and spreading awareness of these rights which are not known to many, as well as dissemination of the culture of early examination and change in the cause of breast cancer With special needs through its project to enable the health of the deaf and its work in the service of society and social responsibility and this achievement, says Professor Samia Makan to be achieved without the support of our faculty represented by its Dean HE Dr. Mahmoud Shaheen Al Ahwal and the University support Representative The Director Prof. Dr. / Abdulrahman bin Obaid Alyoubi and end she won several awards including international awards but honors locally and honoring the nation has a special taste and proud of the award of the late His Royal Highness Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz made the resting place of paradise.
