As the name suggests, Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Al-Amoudi Center of Excellence in Breast Cancer is about excellence, first and foremost. Therefore, research is an integral part of the center’s work.
The center’s strategic plan is part of King Abdulaziz University’s plan of pioneering scientific research nationally and globally. Henceforth, the center must contribute to research and spread the spirit of scientific research on many aspects of breast cancer, such as its medical aspects and its social and emotional impact, so as to acquire the most knowledge and achieve the best possible levels of healthcare quality, and therefore contribute to the development of the Kingdom of Humanity.
The center conducted scientific and applied studies on the local community using the newest methods, all in an air of cooperation and partnership among researchers interested in breast cancer. This also bolstered the spirit of cooperation among specialists in using the results to fight breast cancer and spread awareness about early detection.
